My artistic journey has led me to create more abstract works over the years.

Embracing abstraction allows for a deeper exploration of expression and the joy of discovering the unexpected. It's what makes art truly captivating for me.

I love using vibrant coloured mediums, gestural marks and multi-layered glazes that add complexity and richness to my artworks. It's truly wonderful to see how viewers find their own interpretations and differing imagery within my pieces, reflecting their own perspectives and experiences.

After completing a Bachelor of Visual Art I went on to establish my own design/home staging business. I have now sold this business so I can focus solely on my art. Over the years I have participated in many exhibitions and I have been a working artist member of Nelson Suter Art Society since 2005. I was also a regular entrant in the NZ World of Wearableart Competition which certainly pushed my boundaries.

I have recently had the great opportunity to join the Arty Nelson Gallery; a Collective of diverse Nelson Artists. This has already provided me with more exposure and enthusiasm to create new works.
